Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement can be summarized in one statement: We want to create apps that would make repetitive task simpler.

Wikipedia defines a mission statement as a statement of the purpose of a company, organization or person, its reason for existing. Furthermore, the mission statement should guide the actions of the organization, spell out its overall goal, provide a path, and guide decision-making. It provides “the framework or context within which the company’s strategies are formulated.” It’s like a goal for what the company wants to do for the world.

I don’t have a mission statement… I’m one guy writing apps that perform repetitive tasks in my everyday job, and I aim to make those task simpler and add a little bit of value to the user. There are three ideas floating around at the moment, which include Bottoms Up, Slug It, and KillSheet. The first release will be Bottoms Up, which is a simple app to calculate bottoms up and provide visuals representation of different points in the circulation. The second app will be Slug It, which is a simple app to calculate a proper slug. Slugs are important, but most of the time are just built in bulk and this practice can be very wasteful. We live in a cost constrained environment where I work, so this app seems like a good fit, and I hope others feel the same way. The third app will be KillSheet, which as the names states will be a killsheet. This is still a rough idea, but forms a little more everyday. Finally, I have a couple more ideas that could materialize into products, but I make no promises yet.
